Noble Roots Initiative

The Noble Roots Initiative, launched by the Vimukthi Foundation, is a new environmental project dedicated to restoring and conserving Sri Lanka’s natural ecosystems. It focuses on activities such as tree planting, forest restoration, water conservation, and community engagement—empowering volunteers to rehabilitate native landscapes by combining ecological work with environmental education. Noble Roots aims to nurture both the land and its local communities, fostering a long-lasting culture of sustainability under the Foundation’s guiding principles of freedom, compassion, and noble values.
